Upper Galilee Gets Hit by Missile Attack Linked to Iran via Lebanon
Air-raid sirens were activated in numerous communities across the area as ballistic missiles from Iran and rockets fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon triggered warning systems, reports said.
The Israeli military said earlier that it had detected missiles launched from Iran toward its territory, leading to the activation of nationwide alert systems.
Reports indicated that sirens were heard in several towns in the Upper Galilee, including Safed and Rosh Pina, following rocket fire from Lebanon.
Witnesses reported hearing powerful blasts in Safed, though emergency responders said there were no immediate reports of injuries.
Warning sirens were also triggered in other northern communities and in the Sharon region, reflecting what reports described as a coordinated wave of attacks originating from Iran and Lebanon.
