Iran gets back at Israel with new missile attack on Monday
(MENAFN) Iran carried out another wave of missile and drone attacks targeting Israel on Monday evening, according to local reports.
State-affiliated outlets stated that Iranian military forces initiated a renewed series of aerial strikes aimed at Israeli positions. The offensive reportedly involved a combination of missile launches and drone deployments, as highlighted by Iranian media sources.
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, reinforced the country's stance in a post on X, declaring, “the Islamic Republic will defeat the Zionist entity.”
Meanwhile, Israeli defense forces confirmed that several drones originating from Iran were intercepted in the southern Golan Heights region. In a statement shared on X, the Israeli military said: “Following the sirens that sounded in the Ramat Magshimim and Haspin areas, the Air Force intercepted several UAVs launched from Iran toward Israeli territory.”
This latest escalation marks another chapter in the intensifying hostilities between the two nations.
