China Advises Nationals to Exit Israel "As Soon as Possible"

(MENAFN) Media reported on Tuesday that China has called on its nationals to exit Israel "as soon as possible," amid escalating hostilities between Israel and Iran. The Chinese Embassy in Tel Aviv issued a formal advisory, encouraging citizens to leave the country via land routes, emphasizing the importance of personal safety.

According to the embassy, travelers should prioritize Jordan as a transit corridor. “Leave the country as soon as possible via land border crossings, while ensuring their personal safety,” the advisory stated.

Tensions in the region have soared since Friday when Israel launched a barrage of airstrikes targeting several Iranian sites, including key military and nuclear infrastructure. In response, Tehran retaliated with missile strikes, further deepening the conflict.

Israeli officials report that Iranian attacks have resulted in at least 24 fatalities and left hundreds wounded. Conversely, Iran claims that Israeli bombardments have killed at least 224 individuals and injured over 1,000 more.

Beijing has sharply criticized Israel’s military actions and warned that escalating violence in the Middle East could have dire consequences. Chinese authorities cautioned that regional nations would be the “first to suffer” if the crisis continues to spiral.

India issues similar alert for nationals in Tehran
In a related development, India has urged its citizens in Iran to seek safer locations outside the capital. The Indian Embassy in Tehran posted a statement on X advising: “All Indian Nationals and PIOs (persons of Indian origin) who can move out of Tehran using their own resources, are advised to move to a safe location outside the City.”

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that Indian students had been relocated from Tehran and added that “some Indians have been facilitated to leave Iran through the border with Armenia.”

Adding to the sense of urgency, U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly called for the immediate evacuation of civilians from Tehran amid the intensifying standoff.
