Iran Initiates New Attacks on Israel
(MENAFN) Iran commenced a renewed offensive involving missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles against Israel on Monday evening, as relayed by local outlets.
A broadcaster stated that Iran’s military forces began a fresh sequence of aerial offensives targeting Israeli locations.
A news agency specified that the assault comprised both rockets and drones in the latest wave of strikes.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei expressed via X that “the Islamic Republic will defeat the Zionist entity,” reinforcing Tehran’s stance amid rising hostilities.
Meanwhile, Israel's defense forces confirmed that they had intercepted multiple drones launched from Iranian territory above the southern region of the Golan Heights.
Through a message on X, the Israeli army stated: “Following the sirens that sounded in the Ramat Magshimim and Haspin areas, the Air Force intercepted several UAVs launched from Iran toward Israeli territory.”
