Putin Holds Ukraine Talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan

(MENAFN) The Kremlin announced Monday that Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to host Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan during a two-day working visit to Moscow beginning today.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov informed reporters, "During the day, the president has a number of working meetings planned in the Kremlin, which will be closed. (Also) the president will receive Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan, who is on a working visit to Moscow today."

Peskov emphasized that Ukraine will "naturally" be the "main topic" in discussions between Putin and Fidan.

Additionally, Fidan is scheduled to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to engage in talks centered on strengthening bilateral ties.
